ABOUT GSSSB:- The “Staff Selection Commission” was constituted by the General Administration Department of the Government of Gujarat vide Resolution No. 21-3-88: KBY-1186-1615-C.3 to perform the functions prescribed therein. To recommend selection and appointment of candidates through competitive examinations to fill up the posts of Class-III non-tantric and tantric cadres of the offices of the Heads of Departments/ Departments under the State Government through direct recruitment. Conduct special competitive examinations for promotion of non-tantric and tantric cadre employees of class-3 in the offices of state government/ heads of departments, to recommend promotion of suitable candidates. To conduct departmental examinations of various cadres of Class-III of the offices of the heads of various departments/ departments under the State Government.
